The Science
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) binds to androgen receptors in follicle cells, progressively shrinking the follicle and shortening the anagen phase. Topical saw palmetto extract (Serenoa repens) inhibits 5α-reductase type II at the scalp surface — the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT locally. Combined with micro-current (250µA) that increases ATP production in follicle cells by 500%, the protocol both blocks the androgen pathway and restores follicle energy metabolism.
