The Science
KL's average PM2.5 particulate concentration deposits on scalp skin and intercalates into the hair shaft cuticle, disrupting the acid mantle (ideal pH 4.5–5.5). Alkaline tap water (pH 7–8 in most KL zones) further compromises barrier function after every wash. Our professional cleansing restores pH homeostasis using buffered amino acid surfactants rather than sulphate detergents.
